Both the boys and girls varsity basketball teams continue to practice hard and improve. Under the tutelage of coaches Henderson, Clarke and Krzeczkowski both squads seem to get better each year. A strong combination of veteran leadership and young talent continue to make the teams competitive at the varsity level.

Panthers Open Strong

The Kernahan Park Panthers opened its season with a 35 28 triumph over the Laura Secord Patriots. Leading the way for the Panthers were Kevin E with 10 points and Franklyn S with 9. Panthers will face H.C.C. in their home opener November 30th.

The Kernahan Park Panthers were all business at practice this Monday in preparation for their home opener versus H.C.C. tomorrow November 30th at Kernahan. The action starts at 3:30.

The Panthers came out strong but it wasn't enough to control the inside play of HCC. The Panthers were without 6"2" Mike A (8pts. 12 reb vs LSS). The Panthers are in action December 7th when they take on the Thorold Golden Eagles at Kernahan. Action starts at 3:30.
